"Tapari TVC" is far more than just a commercial—it is a profound, aesthetic tribute to Nepalese heritage. We crafted this visual narrative to showcase how a simple 'Tapari' seamlessly bridges ancient traditions with modern, sustainable living, transforming an everyday object into a symbol of cultural pride.
Tapari, Duna, and Bota are ingenious, eco-friendly leaf plates and bowls meticulously handcrafted by stitching 'Saal ko Paat' (leaves of the Shorea Robusta tree) together with fine bamboo sticks. Found predominantly in the lush Terai regions of Nepal, the Saal tree is a cornerstone of the local ecosystem, providing everything from timber to Ayurvedic medicines.
In every frame of this TVC, our goal was to capture the spiritual and practical essence of these fresh leaf plates. Deeply rooted in Nepalese tradition, they grace the most auspicious occasions of life.
From sacred religious rituals and joyous child rice-feeding ceremonies to grand festival feasts (bhoye) and beautiful marriages, the Tapari is a silent witness to our collective happiness. Our direction focused on visually translating this rich, emotional significance into a compelling and visually stunning commercial experience.
